Getting Ready to drop my 348 stroker into the 60. Does anyone have a picture of a W with the hookers on showing the clearance or lack there of with inner fenders etc. also any installation tips would be appreciated, I assume they would have to be fed up through the bottom, or set in frame rails before motor is lowered.
Thanks Tim

They go in from the bottom. The driver's side is a piece of cake. The passenger side is another story. Watch the number 8 tube at the pinchweld where the floor and firewall meet. And clearance at the lower control arms. I had to grind on mine. I hope you are using stock rubber mounts and not those poly things. If I get a chance I'll try and snap a picture.

You may want to keep the back of the engine as low a possible untill you get the header bolts started. After that, raise the engine into place. Check your clearence as you tighten the header bolts. There is more room to play that way.
Check to see if the starter can be installed after the headers are on.
Good luck.:rofl

If your car has a manual trans., place the clutch Z-bar(cross shaft) in between #5 & #7 tubes and onto the ball stud on the block BEFORE starting any bolts for the header to cyl. head.

On the passenger side after you have a couple of bolts in holding that side up. THEY MUST BE LOOSE. You will be able to swing the header toward the frame. Now is the time to install the starter. It best be a mini starter too. I also use Ultra Copper silicone sealer on the header gaskets.

Here's the only one I could find, not the best shot. You can "massage" the fenderwell to fit without cutting it. Well won't let me post it even renamed as its already posted in " tuning dual quads"
