16-124 = .069 X .0635. You will have to find someone who knows more than I for jetting recommendations. I have a stock stroke 09 .030 over dual quad, I am starting with .095 primarys and .092 secondarys with a 7047 metering rod.

Bob, Ray is using a great combination for 600 cfm Carter or Edelbrock carbs. However when you say stock, are you referring to 3361-3362 Carters? Im afraid I dont know what the standard set-up was for the stock carbs. In other words, the .095-.092 jets may be too much for a 3361. Wish I could help, but I dont have info. on the original carbs. Probably will have some members who can post the info. and give you a base-line to start with.

Bob, in an article by Jim Potter as told by Hayden Proffitt the jetting he used on the strip was a 16-124 rod , front carb primary jets were .104 and the secondarys were .073. rear carb primarys were .104 and the secondarys were .070 with a 16-124 metering rod. Stock jetting was .101 and .063 for both carbs with a 16-124 rod.
