Hi, can anyone tell me ,is there a difference between a marine carburator and a car carburator thanks.

I believe the main difference is carb venting. Fuel vapors in a boat's enclosed engine compartment are very dangerous.
Depending on the brand of carb.Throttle shafts are anti corrosion, if float sticks, a drain for overflow fuel to go in engine, among other safety differences. Function the same as hiway carbs though. Yes they are twice the $$$.:brow
