1974 Chevy shortbed fleetside (shortwide) body only, Cheyenne Super. No engine or trans. this truck was a theft recovery and the theives cut all the wires underhood when removing the engine. used harnesses are readily available or splice in what you need. I have a 78 harness here.

INTERIOR, buckskin color, full headliner trim(needs material on roof),seat is a good core and not as clapped out as it looks. no dash pad. no instrument cluster.(read about EXTRAS at bottom) door panels are not too bad. this WAS an A/C truck. The TILT column is just stuck in there so I could steer it ,but it will stay with truck.

EXTERIOR, The two doors are rough on the inside bottom underside.(read about EXTRAS at bottom), as far as the rest of sheetmetal goes you have to look at pics. the floors, supports and frame are amazingly solid and no holes. the rockers only need outers the inners are still solid even the inner cab corners are good. . Good windshield & other glass. windows roll up & down smooth. The cab is not too bad yet. the cab corners of course need to be replaced and the outer rockers. This cab is definitely fixable and not the typical around here. There is no rot around the front windshield or rear sliding window. The front inner wheelwells are still perfect? they must have been replaced. underhood area is clean and no rust on firewall seam. perfect hood off the 78 burb.
BED= see pics for sides. rear-most part of bed floor has the typical spots of rust through, but from underneath it looks to be worth fixing the ribs are NOT rusted, front bulkhead is straight. There is no tailgate. Its a Dual tank model, but only one tank in it.

DRIVETRAIN,= NONE except for 12bolt rear with unknown gearing, but MOST 73-75's had 3.73's. I will give the buyer a TH350 shortail core if needed.

EXTRAS=I have a 1978 Suburban here that I bought for parts. The burb has decent doors that are real solid on bottom and need only minimal body work they are solid on the bottoms. one burb door is missing glass, but it's here somewhere. I have a perfect core upport , 3 core radiator and all kinds of good wiring on it. the engine harness is cut though. there was a decent tan dashpad and the fancy silverado/alum type door panels on this burb. I also do have a correct year instrument cluster for this 74 truck that is mint, but I want a few $$ for that. basically anything that I have here from the burb you are welcome to for free to make the deal go through. several good NON-computer HEI's.

4-28-06 = I just bought a complete, UN-cut interior and engine wiring harness, fuse block and all, from a 79, I also got a tight TILT coulmn from the guy and if it were me building this I'd convert this truck to a 1979 wiring (it's all bolt -in) the wiring matches up to the 79 tilt column and I can provide a re- done 79 gauge cluster that will eliminate the 74 models amp gauge and replace it with a volt gauge.
I also have a , good running,rebuilt(used) 1978 350 -4 bolt engine here, or an 89 reman 305 with only 10K miles on it.

If you need any pics other than what you see. E-mail me YOUR E-mail address and I'll send what else I have. any emails to my all4trux@snip.net email should include the heading "1974 Chevy Shortbed" in the subject box. I get tons of email spam and i eliminate anything I cant readily identify, thanx.

The truck is located in Pennsville, N.J at the base of the Delaware Memorial Bridge and at the bottom of Rt. 295 and the NJ turnpike so I am very easy to get to. I am only 30 minutes south of
the Philadelphia airport and 10 minutes from Wilmington, De.

I do not take checks OF ANY TYPE, so it's wire transfer, paypal(add4%) or cash only. Thanx for looking. DAVID
