FYI This is the better version of the spin on adapter. Attaches down the center like the canister. Comes with a new oil bypass eliminator. I paid $18 tax and all.

That one would sure help those that can't find a replacement bypass valve for the old blocks , where as with the old style spin on filter adapters you still need that old bypass valve to make them work .

Summit carries this in stock or $12.50. The bypass eliminator attaches with the two bolts and the filter plate attaches to the center of the bypass and pulls equally on the outer ring and gasket. Forces all the oil to go through the filter, none will be bypassed.
