Just wanted to say thankyou to all who repsponed to my problem with too much gas...My Merc with the 348 was flooding every time I started it....\
Saturday, strarted , smoking and running crappy, went for a ride it cleared up, back in the gargage, and pulled off the three air cleaners, low and behold the front carb was dripping gas in ,,sooooo, every time I parked, this was happening,,,,,My GOOD friend Rich Onofrio, the , Life Saver, came over took the top of the carb off, and there was junk in the needle valve....THIS was my problem........so, that's solved....It just got to me that every time I went to start the car it seemed like it was flooding over,,,,,It was , from the shut down ...Happy Motoring.................I did check the center carb, after starting,,, it was half open,, so everything is fine (for now) Lou:)
