My Crane rockers make noise when hot. I am 3/4 turn down runs fine and hasn't blown up yet. I run it hard.:beerbang

On Hyd. lifters, when the oil is hot (thin) it bleeds a little faster than when cold and the noise is the valve clicking against the seat in the head. Pretty normal with higher spring pressures and hi-tech lifters.
