How Much Oil ???

I'm beginning to get a handle on the temp and timing issues... Now it's time to turn my attention to the oil pressure drop after temp come up, so I'm going to change the oil and filter today. How many qt. of oil in the Steff's pan ???

I quess my question is how much oil to put in including the filter ???

I'm using a 65 truck oil pan and I put in 6 quarts. I believe this is the correct amount for a 409. My showcars dipstick shows it being 1 quart low
after change. I just remarked the dipstick to read full. My oil pickup is 1/2" from bottom of pan. I like the build numbers on your motor Nuts...
