vacuum modulator

i have a 65 impala 283, came with a two bbl rochester i wanted to change it to a four barrel. the intake i bought off ebay looks great but i realized that there is no vacuum modulator port on it like the 2 bbl intake can i tee off of another vacuum like the carb or the dist please help i'm confused.

You should have a vacuum port on the back of your 4 barrel carb. It might be plugged with a pipe plug but you should see it on the back of the throttle body. Use that port it is sometimes used for emissions hookup. This will give you manifold vacuum for your transmission. This port should also be for power brakes. :) Roy

You can also tee off the vacuum advance line.
