BIG NEWS... for me for sure:D ...
After all these years, including my missing the convention in September, 2004... Phil Reed called me up last week to let me know that he was coming by while on his vacation ( or was it a holiday:dunno ;) ).
I just wanted to share this. It was an absolute privilage to have Phil and his wife, Candy here in my little town:bow . Phil came by the shop for a few hours, showed him around and told stories. Later we met for dinner at our local "better" restaurant... I understand that he had a really tough pork chop:rofl ;)
Not a lot of car talk... and it was very nice. Candy is positively enchanting, and I think Phil is a very lucky man.
I'd like to SINCERELY thank them for taking the time to go out of their way through this "not-so-scenic" part of the country. Not a lot is going right for us these days, but I can say that their visit definitely put a smile on my face:hug
And thank you Phil and Candy, for dinner... and for bringing the memorobilia from the Convention. I won't wear it... but I'll look at it every day:deal .
Here's a phot of Phil in my shop, telling me another story;)
And at his Harley with my two little ones, Cynthia(7) and Donovan(5):
