Fuel line replacement---

Can anyone tell me the trick of replacing the front to rear fuel line. I have it loose at the front and rear and out of all the clips. It still won't go forward or backward. Is there another clip inside the X member? How do you recommend the new line by installed throught the X? Or is there an alternate route for the new line instead of the factory placement?

Bob, This may or may not help. At the gas tank, where the fuel hose connects to the line going to the front, there is a hold-down clamp above the line where the hose connects. You cant see it from the bottom, you have to feel for it.

Thanks Ronnie, but what I should have typed is "brake" line. Got so frustrated with the thing I couldn't think straight. I'll repost.
