Well The 283 Started Fine Runs Great The Only Problem I'm Having Now
Is The Kickdown Linkage Rods Both From The Carb And The One From The Tranny Are Real Loose Once They Were Sandblasted And Cleaned They Just Fall Off The Nipples On The Bell Crank I Think They Oringinally Came With Some Type Of Clip But Mine Did'nt Have Them Any Idea's Of What To Do. Car Has A 2 Speed Power Glide

Yes they should have a retainer clip. You can probably find replacements in local junk yard that has '70s and '80s cars in it. Just about any car of that era with a kick down rod will have clips that can be adapted. I don't know if you can get these new from NAPA or other chain stores, maybe under the HELP brand name.
