What is the formula for trying to figure horse power if you know the ET and speed and weight. I know there is one, but don't remember it.

Fred, Since I know your statistics, I went ahead and ran the numbers. You are making 240 hp at the rear wheels. :rofl :rofl :rofl I dont know the formula, but I could not pass that one up. Ray knows the formula, he will probably treat you better. :dunno

Fred,I have a Moroso power speed calculator,it works like a slide rule.I went by your 11.51 et and a 4,000 lb car,and you should have 455 HP I have found this calculator is pretty accurate.I tried your speed 117 in a 4,000 lb car and it's 485 HP

When I use the calc. that Jim sent Fred I come up with more crank HP than with the calc. I sent Fred?????????. I have seen this before on different Auto math sites! Sure wish I knew which one was right,,,I hope it's the one Jim found. That one adds more power to the crank.
