Hush Thrush mufflers?

Does anyone know whatever happened to Hush Thrush mufflers? I found Thrush Turbo mufflers made by Dynomax, but I really doubt they sound the same.

I had Hush Thrush on my 62 for years. I replaced them with the dynomax version last year. The are the same shape, and sound. Fairly quiet at cruise but loud when accelerating. I can't tell the difference between the old and new.

Ok thanks. When I get my car I want that sound since I will be driving it everyday, and until now I havent even found anyone with the new ones, let alone someone who had the new ones soon after the old ones. Thanks!:)

Yeah. Is there any chance you can post a sound clip? They are a hard muffler to find sound clips for. I love the sound of the old Hush Trushes. My dad used to have a set on his '68 Chevelle with some blown out cherry bombs that for some reason he never took off. Anyway, it sounded great and although it wasnt loud at idle(no surprise with the Hush Thrushes) it was pretty loud and sounded awesome when he hit the gas. People used to always compliment him on how sweet it sounded and not like the normal compliments, everyone would go on about it it sounded great. Even my mom loved the way it sounded.

The 50 series Flowmaster also sound close but not the same ,,,,BUT CLOSE !!dq
