62 Impala SS

Does anyone know about a 62 Impala SS painted in anniversary gold being a very limited production car? I have been told only 1 was allowed per car dealer in 1962. Any thoughts or information will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

i know that in 1963 they offered a special edition gold impala, it was on a my classic car episode. i beleve it is owned by NPD (national parts group) but i'm not sure. you may be able to get more info off myclassiccar.com
