Clay City

A fiend of mine was down at Clay City this past weekend. Jared Kinnon saw him and started a conversation. Junior had talked to him about setting up a match race, which he didn't seem too interested in. He did say he would like to do another 409 deal, though. Junior thinks he was even saying toward the end of this season. Maybe late September or early October. Would there be any interest in this? I also want to talk to him about next summer for another get together, if we want to do it again. They SURE do. Might be early to talk about next year, but better to get started early than late. I know some of the east coast guys would come if we had a date that didn't conflict with other stuff going on over there. Maybe mid May???????????????? June is stuffed with Good Guys at Indy, and the NHRR in Bowling Green. Some what aiming this at Allen George and Steve Moyer and Carl Bucks. Next year, that is. If there is enough interest for this year, we could see what we could do.

Fred, It is never too early to plan. We would not be able to attend later this year, but name a date in 2007 and we will be there. Thanks....

I can't say 100% that I could make it to a fall meet but I'd sure try. I'm almost positive I'd make it in the spring. Clay City's a great spot and I think fall or spring would be a great time to go because it wouldn't conflict with as many of the racers points series schedules. And even more importantly,,, cooler weather means FASTER CARS!!!:deal It's never too soon to start making plans, it give us something to look forward to.
