63 409 frame brackets?

are the engine mount brackets on the frame of 63 409 the same as small block brackets? will they work for bbc with standard motor mounts (rubber part)? thanks, dennis:dunno

doc, As far as I know, the frame mounts are the same for all 63 V8s. I have removed 327 and replaced with 409 in a 63 Chev . There are different motor mounts ( rubber mounts) listed for 409 engines, however I have used common small block mounts with a 409. Perhaps others will have more complete information. Hope this helps. :)

thanks guy's. i spotted a 63 that was changed over from 6 cyl to 409 and the shift lever on lower part of column was very close to hiitting the left valve cover. thats why i asked, i have the mounts from a 409 car and i didn't know if there was a offset or something like that? thanks again, DOC:cheers
