How Much Is Too Much?

I have been looking for a 62 Chevy grill for an Impala and recently found one for sale in Canada. I was all set to purchase until he came back with the shipping fee--$125(Ouch)--maybe some bulk but not much weight. You guys may know more about shipping fees than me. Input please. Even if this is a ball park figure, I cannot bring myself to pay that.

Shipping across the border is INSANE. I got a price from Canada post to sent and air cleaner from Montreal to Virginia of $77.00.

I sent the same air cleaner from Detroit MI to VA for $14.00.

If the seller or you are near the border, I is worth crossing and clearing it yourself.
