There's all this talk of new aluminum heads & maybe blocks........ I think that if Edelbrock or who ever would cast a modern intake of almost any configuration they would sell like hotcakes......... there are blocks, 690's & 583's, cams, pistons etc. to be had but never has there been a good intake manifold........ I'd bet 1/2 of the members here would order one within a couple of weeks if you could get an Edelbrock performer, dual 4 or ??? whatever for $500.
Why hasn't someone looked into this ??????? :dunno

It's my understanding that a new intake is in the works. Just hold on a bit.

Rich Rojeski from Oregon is working on an intake. I'm not sure who is doing the machine work, yet. I think they have been cast, just need machining done.
There might be another one in the works, too. Not sure on that one yet.

A good Performer RPM type or single Plane Victor type would be great. Then mayne a RPM style dual quad!I always wondered if you could mill or use spacers for a BBC intake. Years ago the Buick guys used spacers for a Mopar intake before TA performance came on the scene.

Rich's parts look great, looks like he takes a lot of pride in what he does. I take it those items he has done are his design & then he has them cast by someone???
I agree with Skip Fix though about a performer or something similar for use on the street.......... the BB manifold adapted is interesting....... that would open a lot of options if it could be done

YES !! Rich is a pattern worker who owns his own company (with partners) and DOES have a whole lot of pride in what he does !!
He does ALL the pattern work himself and I have seen all the patterns used in these parts and was amazed at all the work it takes to make these parts!!
Rich then sells the parts after casting to others like Lamar for resale.
He doesn`t just remake the stock parts but works very hard to IMPROVE the parts in areas that GM should have.
Other then the water pumps that might need a little tweeking the heads and manifolds have had extensive R n D to be the best that have ever been made!!
It is taking him extra time in coming out with the new 690 style heads and manifold due to wanting them to be the very best designs with all the latest technology changes and top quality castings!!
His machinist has said that the alum castings are so good they machine like steel !!!:clap
Hats off to Rich !!:cheers
DQ,
The parts look GREAT !!!! Are the heads available now for purchase ?? What is the price ???
You know me always dreaming of a way to make mine run COOOL !!!!1 :dunno

All the Z-11 stuff is availble and you can price them on Lamar`s website.
The 690 stuff is almost ready,,,
The 690 style heads should be around $3000 to $3500 complete ready to bolt on,,,dq

That price seems resonable when you compare it to $3000 for BARE steel heads!
