Temps in the 20s here in Chicagoland in the evenings. Looks like it is time to put a blanket on my Summer fun 'till the spring arrives. Couple of pics of the final look of the air cleaner I have been working on. Not sure if I like it better than the two small ones but it does get a lot of comments and questions.

models, The more I look at it , the more I like it. Takes some getting used to since it is different than most. But then, maybe thats why I like it, because it is different. I do like the firewall solenoid. Very functional. Nice. Have a good winter up there in Chi town.

models916: I must say it is different. But Kool. :clap Maybe you'd like it better if it was chrome. I took the mags off my 64 last week, and tuned it up, and changed the oil. Got it ready for the long hibernation. We've had 3 days of near 70 deg. temps.:clap Go figure...:dunno Skip:)

Models. The engine looks great! And your right about old man winter. And don't forget the anti-freeze. I did once and ran out in the middle of the night to put a heater under the motor. Wish we could hibernate. Bob

Hay Skip, I've had mine out everyday. I took it up to the advance store to get some Sta-bil for the Winter .My son was follow behind in his car. I pulled out of the lot and side stepped the clutch and put the car side ways across the two lane.
When my son finally caught up to me he had the biggest grin on his face. He said " the a** dropped and the nose came up " from where he was it looked like you could slide a piece of paper under the front tire. ( like that could ever happen) Anyway , I blasted it a little and then back in the garage it went before the cops got here. If it would only stay like this till February.

Nothin scarier than hoping that ice melts before the block or heads crack. Mine was a fresh motor and the ice was already forming. Rat

Ronnie, I just looked out the window. It's snowing a bit. Now would be a good time to head for Texas. Got any room?? Bob

Sure Bob, Plenty of room. However, they predict 32 degrees tonight. Afraid it will be a long cold winter, even here. :doh

Ronnie, floor heat is ready to hook up to boiler. Can't seem to get two plumbers to agree on how to hook it up. We have a schematic comming in the mail from a heating engineer.

Dick
Your post on Atco and Vargo reunion dates are incorrect.
Vargo reunion is Saturday Nov 4 and The Atco nostalgia race
is on Nov 5. Hope to race on Sunday at ATCO.
