I have Edeldbroke stamped steel valve covers on my 350 in the Blazer and have a problem every time I need to add oil.

I`m sure any of you that have ever had a SBC can relate.

You need to pour the oil into the hole where the breather is and they have the oil splash plate inside the hole.
This makes pouring the oil a bit*ch as the oil either runs down the cover or takes so long to drip it in that you go nutz.

I have a few ideas on how to fix this but wanted to hear from others on this,,,dq

This isn't an answer to your problem but your valve covers are probably for the earlier small blocks that had the oil fill tube on the front of the intake manifold.

The only way the covers are available is with one hole per cover with baffles installed.

You could pop out one of the baffles in the cover and use a grommet with the baffle in it.

They have grommets with baffles? That would do the trick !! I`ll check into them,,, Thankz, Dq
