Need 409 exhaust manifold info

I'm ready to bolt on my exhaust manifolds but don't have a heat riser for
the passenger side outlet. I don't plan on running a heat riser, but the
passenger side outlet is not recessed for the "donut" to seal.

How do I get around this issue? :scratch

Can I go to a muffler shop and buy an 2 1/2" I.D. adapter with the recess I need?

I've eliminated the heat riser on other applications in the past, but the exhaust
manifolds have always had the recess.

What to do. What to do. :bang

I'm sure there's a simple answer. Can someone advise please ? :bow
