My wife had me cleaning up my old magazines (or she threatened to throw them all out :eek:) and I came across these photos. The first is from the Rodder's Journal (2004), the second is an advertisement from the June 1963 HRM.

Thanks for posting the pics - would you please get back with the Rodder's Journal issue # where you found the pic of the two Chevy's? The top car looks very familiar but after 45 years my memory starts to fade a little so I want to get the magazine and check things out.

Doc41: All the mags are put up now, but I know that the issue comes from 2004. I believe it is toward the end of the magazine. I don't remember the topic of the article. Please let me know if you find it. -Mike

Doc41: I just found this issue. Its The Rodder's Journal, volume 26, p.122. The sorty is "The 'Dyno' Don Nicholson Story" and starts on p.114.

Are you kidding me?

I love the old pictures, ads and articles. I search the internet just for this kind of stuff. I've got a few old magazines to go through myself one day. Hope they survived the years of storage...or maybe they didn't make it:eek: ..... (My dear wife likes to toss stuff too).

I better go check!:doh
