NHRA Hot Rod Reunion

We're going to be at the Hot Rod Reunion in Columbus Oh. (June 15-17) I was just wondering if anybody else from the site is planning on going too.
We're also aiming for the get together in Norwalk, and Clay City too if that event is a go. Winston says he's coming too.:D

My plans are to attend both of the mentioned events Jim, I am sure Allen, both Wully - Bully cars & Dyno Ray will be there. Had a great time last year at the HRR until mother nature rained it out.

Any body that is within a reasonable distance of columbus should try to attend the Hot Rod Reunion > You will not be disapointed!!!!!!! :clap :clap

As it stands right now, Michele and I are planning on coming, but Carl is not. As far as I know, Allen will be going to Indy, Good Guys, then coming over to Columbus. I haven't talked to Ray yet, whether he is coming. We are also bringing a friend, with a F**D Galaxy.

I'm not sure about where to stay. I gather that there's a field with no facilities next to the track but I don't know if you can stay overnight in the pit area or not. I tried calling the track but just got a recorded message. Does anybody know what the setup is there?

Jim,
We always stay at the track. We do have a motor home though. The track facilities aren't real good for staying more then a day or two at the most if you don't have your own shower facilities with you. I've seen people with tents on the site. I would stay out of the low areas near the scales. I've seen them tow rigs out of there when a sudden storm came up.

Thanks Dick. We're also going in a motor home so the lack of facilities is no problem. Apparently there's a KOA campground with facilities about 10 miles away.
