Was approached today by a friend that has a fairly new Snap on welder model YA212A industrial grade tig, mig and aluminum auto feed welder. It is about a year old but does not get down low enough to weld the thin metal he works with. He has offered it to me for 1500.00 with the bottle. Any comments would be appreciated. I know nothing about this unit.....should I buy yes or no?:dunno :dunno

Are you sure that is a TIG welder? All I see are controls for wire speed and heat. A TIG should have more controls than that shouldn't it? (Foot Control, Amp setting, etc.)

I have a Miller 180 amp ac/dc.When I tig light material I run it on 110 volts and it works great.Guys in the stainless steel kitchen buisness did that untill the smaller 110 machines were available
