Distributor Conversion

instead of buying a new one I am wondering how hard it is to convert a vacuum type into a mechanical advance one. Are there kits help pages out there? It's the standard HEI type unit.
Also check these beauties out! Took me most of Saturday to finsh lapping the valves. Should finsh Monday mounting them onto thier new home.
Those are 2.19 / 1.88 SS valves on 427 BBC heads. Lot's of work in these!

They sell the vac. plate lock-out for a number of distributors. Change the weights and springs (recurve kit) and that's it. Different bushings to limit full advance.
