Thanks Guys, I am still giddy about the heads and I can't wait to start to build the engine. Well I can wait because I don't have all the money together but it looks brighter now. I have a 348 block that has never been bored to start with. I hope to be able to pull about 350 to 375 crankshaft HP and with these heads it will be easier. As Mr. Rogers said, It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood.:clap Roy

Happy Birthday Roy!! Hope you enjoy your day!! If I were you, I'd head back up to Columbia and see if you could get any more presents out of TomK!!!:clap :clap But be careful.......I'm still not over the one I picked up from him last weekend!!:rofl :rofl

And a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting to all our other BIRTHDAY FELLAS!!

Something just came across my mind.........I know, some of you think that really doesn't happen much any more.............but what if..........

You know how "they" have tried to get everyone to turn on their lights at night so the satellites could take a picture and everyone could see it???

WHAT IF.......say on 04-09-07 at exactly the same time.....oh, about 4:09PM Eastern Standard Time...........that we all started up a 348 or 409 engine with open headers...............COULD WE BE HEARD AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!:clap :clap :dunno :dunno :clap :clap I'll bet Pepsi might even consider doing a commercial about this!!! Think about it!!

Just a thought.....

Roy, I hope you are having a great day :). I can't think of a better thing to do on a rainy day than to head to your work area and drool over your new/old birthday presents!

We really enjoyed meeting you and your wife, Pat, last week while in Columbia. Best of luck with the heads and the crankshaft. It's good to know they are in good hands!

Cheers!
