View Full Version : big block fuel line routing

first time trying to do this not sure if its working, any try to find the correct routing for the fuel line on a 1961 impala with a big block they say it goes under the upper a frame, do i have to make this line, it seems that the only sets you can buy are the 3 pc that goes on top of the shock tower, thanks for the help, Jim

Have you tried show cars site?? They used to have the correct one. Or when all else fails call Phil and he will get you on the right track:rofl

Are you sure that the front piece of the three piece goes over the tower? I'm about to install mine, and was looking at it this afternoon. Of course my supplier sent abolutely no instructions. It looks to me as if it would fit under the a arm.

Jhcoll, the front 3/8 section for the 61 goes under the pass a arm. There should be two holes there for the clamps. Make sure you chase them out with a tap . Here's a pic of my buddies car. Good luck.

I believe most if not all the X-frame cars route the fuel line in this manner. My 58 is exactly the same, under the A-arm, which I thought was odd.

I thought for a minute, I was looking at myown project, but then I only have a 55 Belair in the background, not that pretty Corvette
