That dual quad intake looks suspicious. Why is the casting date on its own little pad? Looks like something was welded on there. They mention the 61 "WZ" sold at BJ. That car was from Texas, these guys are from Texas and seem to be the only other people on the planet that know about this "WZ" option......hmmmm

As soon as I looked at that auction, the first thing that came to my mind was, how hard would it be to REMOVE numbers from an intake and make it look original. such as removing the first "1" from the date 11-24-61 and also the last digits from the casting number. That date number looks to be offset on the little square it was cast on.
Also why wouldn't this intake have an experimental casting number like the 2x4 intake I have. Mine has the center dividers removed also and was cast after this supposed Jan 61 intake but has an experimental casting number. bogus bogus bogus. I hope somebody doesn't fall for this and pay their ridiculous price.
