LED lights?

Anyone using LED lights for tailights in their Impala?
Found these on the net, plug directly into the light socket size 1156/1157.
May try these out.

I heard they are dim and not very good but never used them myself. I read about them on a truck website I used to go to and that was always the comment on them.

I believe I saw these same bulbs in either Autozone or Advance auto.

I was told that 2357s are brighter than 1157s and do not cost near as much as l.e.d.s and any parts store should have them.

I tried 18 leds in the 62 and found them somewhat dull. I am currently using 27 leds and they are very bright. I have seen the new 82 and they look good. I have a friend who uses BLUE 27 leds in all 4 holes with backup lens and they glow purple.
