Tire Rim color On A 61 Impala

Need to know the correct color to paint the rims on a 1961 Impala, are both sices black or the the outside get painted red thanks for the help,, Jim

My car has the original rims painted the same as it's body color.

I did mean to say my 1961 Impala, not the 58. But I think the 58's are body color also (only have 1 orig rim in the spare)

Mine is a Belair, not sure if that makes a difference, and they (the wheels) are body color. The Impala is tucked away, so I can't tell you on that one. Others will know!

On any model '61 Chevrolet except the Super Sport, the wheels should be body color on the front and low gloss black on the back side. The Super Sport got black wheels (front & back) regardless of body color.
