I thought you guys would enjoy this clip of when we were in Eddyville, Iowa last July. I have plenty more if anyone wants something to help get rid of the Winter blues.

Thanks everyone, we had an great time out there, and we're going to do it again this July. That was my first time racing at an 1/8th mile track, and let me tell you, that finish line comes up real quick!

The IHRA rule book states that up to 150mph one chute is required, and at 200mph two chutes are required. If everything would do what it's supposed to do, I should be at that 200mph mark.

A couple of things have changed for this year, one being the engine, and the other being the tow vehicle, but that's for another thread.

Wow, Ok I have to ask, what is sitting inside the sheet metal that will propel that 60 to 200 mph.? Very nice ride

The power comes from a 707" Donavan with 2 stages of nitrous backed by a Dedenbear powerglide and ending up with an 11" Mark Williams full floater rear end. There's alot of misc. stuff in the middle to help things along, but those are the important parts. We're hoping to try out a set of those new Hoosier 10.5W's this season.

The rail got out on him at the start but I would have liked to been at the other end to see how fast he was closing. All I can say is, man what a rush!:clap Roy

I passed him right before the lights. In fact, I think there is a clip from the finish line that someone else took. I'll see if I can find it.
