I have the 2nd version 348 with the spark plug cooling passages. Will the old style 3 2barrel intake without the bypass work? Can you remedy this with a t-fitting at the heater hose?

Yes you can. Actually that is the way the factory did it. The 3x2 intakes did not have a nipple on the front but used a T type fitting screwed into the heater hose opening and then had an S shaped hose going to the top of the water pump.

Thanks alot for the answer. I checked with showcars and found a t-fitting for bypass and heater hose.
