we are rebuilding a 65 409 truck block...low performance heads...motor was running before we took it apart...push rods that we took out measured 8 3/16...and 9 3/16 by a tape measure....ordered new ch moly 5/16 pushrods from show cars..part 5344...but they are not the same length as the one we took out. they are however the same lenth as a set of 3/8 push rods out of a 425 hp 409. any sugestions on finding the correst size.
