I just bought a 58 chevy 1 ton panel.Is this at all a desirable vehicle?It has some rust & the 6 cylinder is siezed but I think it would be kinda neat w/a SBC.What are your thoughts and please be honest,you can't hurt the old farts feelings.

Would make a cool tow vehicle.

Panels are neat.
would probably be more desirable with 1/2 ton running gear if it were to be a hotrod. or it could be a great tow vehicle with the 1 ton running gear.
If you were to dump a ton of money into fixing it up, you might end up a little backwards if you were to sell it.
People like panels, but usually won't spend much money to buy one.
