hey all i recently picked up 3 engines a 283 a 327 and 350 I believe all for a $100 I was wandering if i coulkd get more help deciphering exacly what they are the front pad on the first one is c4j143590 v0222tky and back pad 3970010
second one front pad
vo523gh back pad 3896944 which should be the 283
and the third one front pad
vi209hc back pad 389265 and that one has a road draft tube


also one of the heads i checked the number looks like 389046488

The 010 block is a 350 and the[ hc front pad code is a 327 4 brl pg 1966] The rest I dont know. John

The first with "TKY" is from a truck and could be:

1974 TKY 350 conv.cab 160 4 C-20 to 3500
1978 TKY 350 fwrd cab L LS9 165 4 C-30 & 3500
1980 TKY 350 conv. cab, m/t L LS9 165 4 C-10 to 2500

Can't find a "GH". Could it be something else? The G was used for alot of 283's and some 265's.

The third with "HC" could be either:

1965 HC 327 Powerglide 275 4 full size
1969 HC 350 m/t 250 2 A F X
