I have a new dilema that I thought was normal but has really confused people. My friend when fixing my axle bearing took the car to his house and told me my brakes where dragging. I told him thats odd they never dragged for me. He told me my brake drum was frozen or tight on my rear brakes. I said that is odd I have removed the drum with no problem. I told him did you remove the parking brake he said it was not on. I said the brake light is not working and the pedal is up but the brake is engaged. He said ohhh that is the problem.
Well the problem is when I depress the parking brake the brakes engage but the pedal always comes up. When I pull the parking brake handle the brakes disengage. I was told and looked at other 64s and this is not normal. What could be the problem? Any leads? Thanks in advance on any solutions.
