I understand your 54th birthday is to be your "aluminum year", which makes sense, seeing how you have all those new shiny heads being produced :).

Sure seems a long timr since the Mid West 409 Club and the Great Lakes 409 Club. I guess we are not getting any younger. Do you ever hear from any of the other members? We really don't know for sure because I just blew up the motor in my dually:bang :cuss :cry and I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to rebuild it or buy another. I will need it to make the trip. I will keep you informed.

GM has a crate 502 motor that would fit right in that dually. It's a lower horsepower engine. Built for torque. The price of it isn't bad, plus it comes with a warranty.

Sounds like a sweet tow engine with the correct bolt on stuff. I didn't know they made that configuration
