What is the easiest way to wire an aftermarket amp gauge in my 64?
I know how to do it but I was wondering where the most popular connection point was. Thanks:rofl

hi,,, i was going to do a amp. gauge but was told they can be a fire hazard
or melt your wiring. and a volt gauge was a better way to go.
this is what my speed shop man said, me i have no idea.:dunno

I agree that a amp guage is a dangerous guage to fool with. It is normally connected to battery via a 12 or 10 guage wire that is hot most of the time and has in the past caused many a rodder difficult times if not loses of greater proportion. I would can it and put in a volt meter with a 16 guage wire.....safer by all means IMHO. walt:)
I second the motion. Volt meter. Make sure it is on a keyed source.
