409 Contest

Let's start a contest on who can guess the closest to the exact time that we will have the 409,000 visitor to this website.

First prize will be a new set of aluminum 409 heads!!!!!!!!! Now we will all have to contact Jack Gibbs at 409 Chevy Performance (how's this for a blantant commercial!!!!)......since he is the only one with any to give!!!!:rofl :rofl :rofl If Jack would do that for us..........I'll see that they are given to the winner!!!!

I'll go first...........after careful consideration and mathmatical equations, I predict.........Thursday, May 3 at 4:09 AM!!!!!

Well....it's 1:45PM Central Time and we have 408,464 visitors!!! Looks like it will be after 3:48PM this afternoon. Sorry Dave............but you guessed too soon!!!!:rofl :rofl Looks like I'm going to be the winner because you had to guess a week ahead of time and your guess can't be early!!!! It's the closest without going over type of contest!!!!

Guess I'll call Jack and make arrangements to go out to CO and pick them up!!!!:rofl :rofl Oh oh..........another road trip!!!!!!

OK...... it looks like someone is trying to fix the 409 contest........after it's been won......... I don't have a clue who that might be but it probably could be some old guy who just can't remember so well......... I've heard that if the memory gets bad enough you can actually wake up with a new woman beside you every morning....... so there could be a good side to memory loss........

My guess was registered a week ahead of the winning time and there were no rules about going over or being early......... and it looks like I have smoked the only other contestant..... and I don't have to remember any of this because it's all recorded...

I'm going to enjoy my new aluminum heads when Phil sends them to me...... they're really going to freshin up my 409......

I'd almost be convinced...... no I think I could be pursuaded to forfeit the prize if the confused old guy could convince me and his wife................ and the rest of the members here that he has a memory problem and in fact wakes up with someone new every day............ he would have to do a good job though..........

Well Phil............ looks like maybe..........just maybe mind you........ that we were both out by about 12 hours........ I'd be willing to call it a draw if you would......

That would let you off the hook for trying to "fix" the contest and there would be no explanation required regarding the memory thing......... and we'd both have one aluminum head....... we could get 350 HP out of one side and 250 HP out of the other........ 600HP ???? not bad........... might run a little lop sided and sound like a John Deere but ........Oh well ??????
