I hope you're right. In that case I suddenly like red! I have 60 original GM shifters including about 20 of these plus a couple of Ansens. I guess I better start listing them.
Seriously though this couldn't be for real I think there's a couple of mischievious bidders playing with the seller. I don't recall any of these bringing much more than $150 . Maybe Ross has?

I've seen some bring over $200. There was a complete bench seat shifter with the linkage for the muncie that went well over $300! It, however, was taken out in 1963 and was in excellent shape! Plus, it had the rare muncie linkage. (Same as T-10 but the reverse rod is slightly different). All in all $150 is plenty for a early, big-chevy shifter. Recently an NOS 63 SS 4-speed stick sold for over $250, if I remember correctly. That was JUST the chrome handle!!
I spent three years, and more than $150:rolleyes: putting together the original shifter for my car but I still prefer the Hurst!
