Convention DVDs

I just sent Phil a PM yesterday and he has not yet responded. I ordered 2 ,1 for giny & I and 1 for John & Julie for X-mas.Anybody get their DVD yet. It's after Thanksgiving.
Here is an email I received from the DVD crew. They obviously hit a snag last week. I've put a call into Mick and as soon as I hear from him, I'll post it. He told me that Thanksgiving was the target date.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! I had a set back with the editing. My main editing computer crashed on Wednesday and I took it in on Friday. Waiting to hear back if it's the motherboard or the hard drive. Hoping its the motherboard. If it's the hard drive I'll have to start over. I have all the footage backed up on another hard drive. So, the footage is safe. It just means a possible delay in finishing the edit.
I'll get back with you as soon as I know what is going on.

I just received a E-Mail that the funds have been returned to my son's account concerning the 2014 Convention DVD.
If that is the case, how or can anyone re-order for the DVD?

Well...........small delay. The DVD guy told me last Friday that the computer crash was his hard drive. So now he was to start all over on the editing.
Said he was a third done when it crashed. But all is backed up so we really haven't lost anything except time. With his schedule and mine.....looks like the end of January for me to be able to ship. But on the upside....we are going to try to get several hundred pictures added to the end.

Thanks for your patience Jim!!! I could get real mad but it wouldn't do any good anyway!!! Trying to keep the blood pressure down to acceptable levels!!!
Getting mad just doesn't do anyone any good. Looking at the bright side,the dvds should be out at the time when we need something to lessen our cabin fever.
We're sure it will be worth the wait Phil!!! Especially for those of us who didn't make it out there.

I got one to suggest while we are waiting on Phil's DVD. Circa-1963------- Four For Texas------- starring Frank and Dino, but the real stars of the movie,,, Anita Ekberg and Ursula Andress .
I found a 6 minute trailer video of "TAKE OFF " on you tube. Google : Take Off 1978. My car is in the 50's sequence of the movie. All you can see is the interior with the roll bar. This trailer is HEAVILY edited ( THANK GOD !). NO porno scenes are shown. I believe the real XXX version is available for those who dare. The original movie shows the car at Jones Beach here on Long Island. The movie was filmed at the "Westbury Gardens " Mansion. This thing is wacked out and real stupid but it got some good reviews. GO FIGURE !
$500.00 for 2 hours of sitting on the side of the road wasn't bad plus a free original video. It has some recognizable TV stars doing there 1st movies.
