muscle car madness 2015

Just spent the last 4 days at Muscle Car Madness in Rangiora.
This is about 60 miles from our place near Christchurch.

Is a large event by NZ standards.
round about 1000 plus cars. Music.

Not many W engines here. Not a 409 in site this year. 4 or 5 348s.

Will attach some pics and see if they come through.

There will be some odd looking vehicles for you guys so just ask if things get confusing

Yes sir, its a big event for here.
over 1500 people camping on site for the weekend from Wednesday through to Sunday
Some really cool cars, brilliant weather 25-33 degrees Celsius each day

This was an awesome weekend and as Steve said the weather was just brilliant. This was the 25th anniversary of this event and still run by the same guy, Craig Stare.
There were a good number of overseas guests attending and a rockerbilly band from bought out from Utah.
A massive event with all nite parties, cruzing around the show grounds and many many sore heads.
Not sure about Steve, but I took today of work in order to recover and let a few brain cells re-sort themselves out again.

Jock McGilvray's 34 coupe powered by Chev as they should be. 605HP at the wheels with a 1071 blower to come.

No 6 lug wheels be nice

There are a lot of 65-70 big cars over here, some are real nice

I can't make up my mind whether that '55 Camper is Wonderful or Terrible. On the one hand I can't see doing that to a '55. On the other hand there are lots of 55's and why not have the coolest camper around?

Theres a local car cruise here that weekly has about 5-600. Some special weekends it will gather upwards of 1000.
