Winners: Allen George Jr and Lonnie Hall. Congrats to both of them and everyone who made the event a success!

The event is also fully archived online for all three days, you just have to skip around to find when the class runs. Unfortunately, there are audio and video sync issues. They weren't there when it was live, but the archived ones have problems. The audio is ahead of the video. Here is Saturdays full 10 hour eliminations day:

There are enough results, pictures, and videos from this event to know everything that happened!

To all that were at Bowling Green, I'd like to thank everyone for giving my son (Brad) & grandson (Owen) a great time. Every time you raced my grandson had a smile from ear to ear. The red 409 hat was a hit also, it's the color of granddads. My grandson is only 8 years old, but he asked me yesterday "grandpa can you make me a race car? They are so cool" .
Looks like he's got in his blood now. We had a great time.
I spent most of my time in the shade trees, because I can't take the heat.
To bad they don't allow conv on the race track.

Hey Dave,
I only just met Brad for 2 minutes as he was leaving on Saturday. I have to say that you have one mighty fine convertible.
Sorry we did not get to meet up.

Gav, thank you for the complement on the 62.
I didn't get around that much the 3 days as the heat was really bothering me for some reason. Don't see that many 90 degree day in Michigan, as The Great Lakes keep us a little cooler. And my back was acting up for some reason , so I sat under the trees to keep cool and keep from moving around. Hope to meet you when come back, you are always welcome to drive the 62 with the top down.

Another awesome event! A big congrats to Lonnie and Al for some great racing your both amazing drivers. I never raced Al but Lonnie treed the hell out of me to send me packing one of my favorite races. Al, Martin and Allen Mackenzie were amazing as I expected they would be you guys did a out ******* standing job ( theres a story behind that saying Dave Mills can elaborate). My back was kicking my but and I'm also sorry I couldn't make it down to see the show cars. Looking forward to next year already I got to get some practice in before lining up with Lonnie again though. We have a great group and I'm really proud to be a part of it. I could go on and on as I'm sure the rest of us could.

Thank you Al and Martin and the rest who made this such a great event. It was good seeing some old friends and meeting some new ones. I think the 348-409 group impressed a lot of people. I heard many good comments on our cars and our racing. Thank you for our award. Randy, Candy, & Ron Kirker

I will probably be adding posts for days because my memory is so bad I can't recall things when I need to. The only regrets I have is not meeting everyone I wanted to. I had Lonnie and Scott on my mind several times and twice I went looking and they were away from the car. Also wanted to find and meet randy k and tell him how much I liked his coupe. Guess I'll have to go next year so I can catch them and many others. and how about the pictures the MacKenzies take? First class all the way.
We are a lucky group to have so much talent on board.

Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork equals success! Made it home safely. Had a wonderful event. Just want to thank everyone who participated and helped make this a huge success. Thanks for good weather and Martin, you're just like that Energizer Bunny...you just keep going! I enjoyed so much working with you! Phil and Candy, it was so good to see you both. Dick, thanks for the timing chain cover. Allen George and Alan MacKenzie thank you for the drivers meeting and the race ladder. Barry and Ronnie, thanks for picking up my fuel. Ray, I have ordered a smaller dumpster for next year so it will be easier to find your time slip. Congratulations to Allen George...you brought home the bacon. Congratulations to Lonnie Hall, look up the word competitor and there he stands. Congratulations to Jay Gould, you really know how to build 'em. Congratulations to Randy, with a 003 light. And, Gav, what can I say?! You are our very first #1 fan. Thanks so much for making the trip. Remember.....we need to up the ante on cars for next year. It gives us all something to work toward.
