This car is one of the most well known race cars of its' day. .....Where did it go????.......Where did the blue hood scoop come from???....

It is currently being beautifully restored.....................I will post many more great restoration images once it is identified here on the forum. A case of beer to the member who can identify who/where the hood/scoop came from!!!

I don't think the car had a name, did it?
Jack Shaw Chevrolet in good ol' hometown Cleveland Ohio was the sponsor, and it was lettered on the side of the vehicle.
Wish I owned a Chevrolet dealership....

Now.....does anyone know who raced the car after it was sold... Trying to find images of the car as it was raced after Schartman and who possibly mounted the Plexiglass Hood Scoop.

Here are a few pictures of the car "as found" and a few as it is currently. According to the owner, it needed wheelhouses, both rear quarters, complete floor, trunk and I'm sure I'm missing something. I feel the pain!!
But what a great job!!!............It is being restored as raced.
