James has his talented fingers into a new build for the BA409 car. Turns out the stroker engine will be a no-go, so we've switched directions and will begin with a fresh truck block with a stock stroke, new BBC rods and K-B Ikon pistons. Same 690 heads, possibly a new intake, and a set of Mark's headers.
Plans are to "save" the previous block for something more radical in the distant future (meaning probably not this year...). James put that engine together with a bunch of used parts I had laying around the basement. Figured we better take it out before it detonates. It's probably the least worn block I have in the bunch :).
