Seems like a lot of press for a car that is neither a REAL RACE car OR ....a REAL Z-11!!

As an individual told me on another public forum,..... paraphrase here......"what you are telling me is that your car isn't real"!!??

I confessed......."it's a fake"...... I then told my wife not to be upset, the money we spent building this car was fake too!.... We still have lots of real money.......I just don't know where it is!!!

Car is set to buff next weekend. Some of the fit & finish details are definitely above my pay grade. Lots to do after car is polished. Leaving the underside of the hood unpainted. Kinda' like it.

Starting to look like something. Jim Sullivan sent me the rubber connection piece the he fabbed up for the air cleaner. Had to see how it fits , but looks great! Evan (409 Envy) is becoming quite the crew chief!!!

Is that an original z11 air cleaner or did Jim make it for you?

Randy DeLisio made a handful of these air cleaners many years ago. He used an original to fabricate it. Most others are on restored, original Z-11's. They are exact as manufactured by GM, or so I'm told.

Love it, especially the blue color. Is that original blue? I've never seen that shade before. I'm partial to blue, red and purple but I know they never made an Impala in purple. Wish.
