I didn't say it is one of one, if that is Butch's car it is an original 409 car, and it might be the only 409 Fleetmaster built, I don't know, there were 142 409 cars built in 1961, there are no records to show which bodies they were installed in but they were available in any big body car. I know Butch was wanting to sell his car.

Phil did say that the original 61 409 motor was long gone -thrown in a junk pile or worse.

The original block was in the area according to Butch. It had been blown up really bad and the guy still wanted $7,000 for it.
No one know where it is today.

I saw what was probably the original block on ebay when the guy had it on there for about $7k. It had a hole in the side and lots of other problems.

Even if the block is junk it would be worth something to the owner of the car, zilch to anyone else.
