Can anyone help me figure out what this emblem fits. I believe it's a grill emblem. Found it in a box of stuff I bought at a swap meet. Thanks and let the games begin!20190624_113727.jpg

So today I was working on the 54 Chevy truck frame and got all the brake lines and hoses put on it. It's winter I need to get it put together and need to get it running for next spring. Now is the time to get busy.

I keep warning everyone on my motor sports event guide that its time to get working hard on our winter projects. I added a jet boat to my work load so every step I can make no means I won't be rushing later. My 64' 9 passenger wagon has to have exhaust and interior finished along with the Jet boat motor rebuild and interior done. Good times!

For the last two days I've been putting in Springs painting and assembling the front end for the 54 Chevy pickup. Got all the brakes installed and bled. Now it's time to knock the motor apart and see what it needs. Going to put a 396 (mild) and a 700 R4 Transmission. It's got a positrack with 373's in it. I use the Power Bleeder tool from Speedway to bleed the brakes, held 15 psi for 30 minutes with no leaks! I highly recommend this tool for doing brakes especially if you don't have somebody to pump the pedal for you. They work flawlessly can adapt to any type brake system!

It has AC Delco 530-253 that came with the front end kit.... the shocks came in the Mustang 2 front suspension kit with the A-Arms in the crossmember. Got to have a little bit of weight on the front end to put the rubber stubbers washer & Nut on the top of the shock... Kit was 1600.00

So today I decided it would be a good day to work on the insulation and heat barrier for the truck since I’m stuck at home like everyone else. This should also cause a noise deadening application too. I picked up these 6”x 25’ Rolls of aluminum insulation with a Rubber backing that has adhesive on it. And I laid it down in my truck and overlapped by a quarter of an inch. What do you think so far? I like it and I’m going to finish the cab with it. Only $16 a roll at Lowe’s… It will have some kind of carpet or vinyl over the coating anyway..:dance15C436C8-C6D0-4F14-9E3F-7EDD285E9E55.jpegDDD7B2DA-2748-477A-824B-33D3E4946DC3.jpeg720F4589-D79A-4F0D-8157-915517262841.jpegAEBD3E46-94F8-4E69-85A6-A93247BCC84C.jpegD0116083-8CA8-4E2B-BEBE-6F16A56365B1.jpeg927444F5-C4A2-4ED0-AEEB-D812EF3A7F20.jpeg
