There might still be plenty of land, however, you have all those invaders from New York coming up there, ruining a good state, demanding the services that they complained about paying for in New York, thinking that New Hampshire could supply those services on the meager tax revenue that they receive. When I owned land in New Hampshire in the early 1960's, taxes on 100 acres were less than $60. Today, that same 100 acres is probably more like $10,000. You have to go South if you want a large parcel of land with low taxes! All my friends in NH are always complaining about how expensive living there has become.
